Loonatics Unleashed Online :: the World Wide Web's #1 Unofficial Loonatics Fansite

Loonatics Unleashed Online

“In the year 2772…a meteor strikes the city-planet of Acmetropolis, knocking it off its axis. This cosmic event releases supernatural forces, unleashing a new kind of hero…the Loonatics.” ~ Zadavia

Welcome to Loonatics Unleashed Online, or for short, LUO. This is an interactive worldwide fansite for the TV show Loonatics Unleashed. The debates and amusingly random and occasionally controversial comments that are the norm on this website are going to keep hopefully you coming back for more.

Picture of the LoonaticsThere shall be no spamming, flaming, or overall dissing about the people using this site. If you are here to hate me, this website, or the show, that is perfectly fine, as long as all language is appropriate. Dis-likers shall not be prosecuted here, although flamers will be towed.

On a happier note… I would like to say that if you are open-minded and willing to cooperate, this can be a happy experience for all. But enough history and boring comments! If you came here to explore the site, then that is what you shall do. And remember—have fun!

Site Updates

Thursday, July 17th, 2008: zadavias_spirit made a promo for LUO on YouTube here. Watch it!

Monday, July 14th, 2008: Three new mods:

  • Dragon Wing
  • Akira_Cat
  • Rye

Thank you all 7 who were nominated (those 3, and zadavias_spirit, XtreamCrazy, techfan979, and Ayelet_Ripley). You all are valuable members of LUO, and this admin hopes you stay for a while!

Friday, May 30th, 2008: Yes, the webmistress lives! There's been some general message board reorganization, but nothing new otherwise. Apparently Kids’ WB is now the CW 4Kids. Stupid monopolies. =/ There might be some updates within the next month, I don't know. If you want naughty access on the boards, PM me, don't e-mail me or leave a note on the whiteboard. Thank Dragon Wing for my return—it was her e-mail that brought me back to life, so to speak. Maybe now the show has been canceled⁄terminated (not officially yet though), I can purchase the DVDs and write some episode summaries. Also, if you want your fan art, fan fics, or fanscripts on LUO, e-mail them to me again. My hotmail account has gone crazy, but everything's better now. =| There might be a new chapter of Down the Alley, but that's a pretty big might.

Sunday, February 25th, 2007: Gosh, have I really been offline for an entire month? O_o Didn't know that was possible. I've been caught up with Têt (the Vietnamese Lunar New Year), an English assignment for my Pre-AP class, and a JOOI convention for the SETX district (I got voted one of three Lieutenant Governors—w00t!). I've updated a glitch on the icon gallery that might occur in some browsers, and I promise to get RevRunner's fics up within the next month. Also, by next week, I hope to have some new analyses up and another chapter of Down the Alley uploaded. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to see the past three new episodes, so it might take a while before the episode summaries and villain bios are up. Oh yes, and I've made my decisions for the three new moderators. Thank you everyone who offered to help. The new mods are:

  • Crossfire_7
  • kaejae
  • the_oddity

Please PM me whenever you get the chance to activate your moderating privileges and receive your guidelines for moderation. Thanks again! =D

Monday, February 5th, 2007: New icons!

Monday, December 25th, 2006: A merry Christmas to all those who celebrate it! A new miscellaneous analysis is up. A background has been added to the navigation bar. Also, because I am the almighty webmistress of LUO, I order everyone to at least once in your lifetime go to the instant messenger. It's been there for a while now, but I've only seen two or at most three other people there. Maybe it's just bad timing, but the IMer is there for a reason—so everyone can have conversations without having to wait for the message boards to load, which on slow connections can take a while. The prerequisites have also been updated (check the prerequisites bulleted list and LU Sleuth Help Desk).

Friday, December 22nd, 2006: Fixed a bug for the site in Firefox as well. The background now displays properly for the navigation bar. Stupid IE errors. =/ Anyway…there's a new section entitled miscellaneous analyses for any random analyses about the show. A lot of other analyses have been updated⁄added, so check that out if you'd like. There is now a “Back to top” link on each page. Hopefully, this will reduce user frustration when scrolling through long pages to get back to the navigation bar.

Wednesday, December 20th, 2006: Fixed a bug for LUO in Opera. The navigation bar now displays to the left, as it's supposed to.

Saturday, December 9th, 2006: The fanart gallery has been updated. You might want to look at that. There's a new format, along with new art by kaejae. Also, Black_Oracle released her third fanscript, entitled “Lightspeed Chase”. If anyone wants to check it out, the first half of the screenshots for “The Comet Cometh” provided by LUO member Zadavia are now here.
*EDIT:* Icons. New ones by Animefangirl11. Also, a new poll.

Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006: LUO has a new server!

Tuesday, November 21st, 2006: The new screenshot gallery is up, along with other updated episode stuff. And if you look around, you'll notice some of the new randomly generated screenshots around the site too, like the one here on the homepage. Just another added bonus.

Saturday, November 18th, 2006: Okay, Lonely Light's icons actually display now, they weren't displaying before. Thanks to Animefangirl11 for pointing that out. And the first raving is now up, called PopMatters Television Review Rant.
*EDIT:* It's been awhile, but the fourth chapter of Down the Alley is out. Took me long enough…

Tuesday, October 31st, 2006: Happy Halloween! =D A new icon gallery has been added to LUO, with icons everyone can use (as long as credit is given to the creator). Also, an instant messenger (not a chatroom) has been added, as well as a “Loonatic Ravings” area. Enjoy!

Saturday, October 28th, 2006: New polls have been added to the polls page, along with a few more things I've been meaning to update in quite a while now. Enjoy while I apologize for the fact that the site has not been updated in two whole weeks…

Thursday, October 5th, 2006: I have finished up the biographies for all of the villains, so you can check that out if you want.

Tuesday, September 26th, 2006: Black_Oracle finally released her second fanscript, “Love Stinks”, featuring the descendant of Pepe Le Pew. There is a little français used, and I have translated to the best of my ability. Also, the pairing analysis for “Weathering Heights” is up, as well as an updated character analysis for Ace and Lexi. I have also added the episode script for “Attack of the Fuzz Balls” to the episode scripts section.

Friday, September 22th, 2006: The second season of Loonatics premieres tomorrow! Also, I have added a page for the biographies of other characters and a page for episode scripts. And for those who have been wondering, the third chapter of Down the Alley has finally been posted. Now let us hope for a successful second season of Loonatics Unleashed!
*EDIT*: Whoa, check out that new theme song and the new animation style! Anyway, the first episode of the second season was a success—check out the second season episode guide for a summary if you didn't get to see it.

Sunday, September 17th, 2006: Apparently there was a spot of trouble with the background image and the header not showing up. Rest assured—the problem is fixed. Also…LUO has a new affiliate, the 7th Loonatic fan site, by the_oddity.

Friday, September 15th, 2006: The blog is no longer existant (mainly due to the fact that I'm too lazy to update it, heh). I hope you guys like the new version of the site. I've updated the general appearance, and I've given up on the hidden buttons (except one here on the home page, and a few on the Loonatics’ bio page). Now there is a fanscripts area, due to popular demand. It'll probably fill up very quickly, so you might want to check back often. Lyra Vulpictor also just submitted some fan art to LUO. All feedback opens in the same window as the original document (if you want to open a link in a separate window, you can easily do so with keyboard and⁄or mouse commands). Fret not, I'm adding a link to each feedback page so you can easily return to the first chapter of each story. If you find any quirks with the website, feel free to e-mail me at autumnofsquirrels@hotmail.com, and we'll see what I can do.

The so-called “companion” site to the message board hosted by Jesse the Fangirl (see above). Has a nice essay about the show, a few rants, and a good place to go to view information.

Loonatics fansite created by dOMITUPSYK. Still incomplete. Occasionally features videos. Apparently now it's just dOMITUPSYK's rant site, but an affiliate nonetheless.
