Ace Bunny

Danger Duck
Tech E. Coyote
Rev Runner
Slam Tasmanian
Zadavia

Ace Bunny

Ace BunnyAs the team's leader, Ace must keep a calm, cool head at all times. Ace makes saving the world look extremely easy (most of the time). His powers include infrared laser vision and optical enhancement (he has Superman® vision in other words). Ace is the descendant of Bugs Bunny, and without his costume on, looks exactly like his long-dead ancestor.

Ace absolutely loves making witty remarks—that his team mates don't mind, but fans love to hate—and also loves making fun of villains before toasting them with his laser vision. He is an expert in the martial arts, and used to work in the film industry as an underappreciated stunt-double before joining the Loonatics (just like Bugs Bunny®).

Ace owns the sword of one of the guardians of Freleng—the guardian strike sword. According to Zadavia, owning this sword proves that you are a great warrior, a true leader, and worthy of being a hero.

First debut: “Loonatics on Ice”
Powers: infrared laser vision/optical enhancement
Equipment: Guardian Strike Sword
Color: yellow (agh—poor Ace!)
Ancestor: Bugs Bunny
Voice work: Charlie Schlatter

Lexi Bunny

Lexi BunnyLexi Bunny is the resident gymnast of the Loonatics and your typical mall-a-holic female bunny. Lexi is cool, hip, and always there to help her friends (if she isn't feeling too concerned with her appearance, that is). She is the only regular girl on the Loonatics (not counting Zadavia, and no one besides me does that). Her powers include the brain blast, auditory amplification, and sonic hearing.

Lexi is the descendant of Lola Bunny, who was an OC character created for Space Jam and later featured on Baby Looney Tunes. Lexi used to go to Acmetropolis University (probably a freshman, though that was never verified) before becoming a Loonatic.

Lexi can use her brain blast underwater, but with different effects than up on the surface. It turns out that Lexi's brain blast can also knock out mind control waves, and she can hear the language of aquatic animals, because her ears can “tune in” to the frequency.

First debut: “Loonatics on Ice”
Powers: brain blast/auditory amplification/sonic hearing
Color: pink (how stereotyped)
Ancestor: Lola Bunny
Voice work: Jessica Dicicco

Danger Duck

Danger DuckDanger Duck…otherwise known as Loonatic comic relief. Duck is the descendant of Daffy Duck, and like his ancestor, tends to be an egomaniac at times. His powers include “quacking” (teleporting short distances) and the power orb randomizer, which means that he can produce random orbs of whatever out of his hands. He still needs a little work, but his superpowers—when used properly, of course—are extremely powerful.

Duck holds Misty Breeze.Duck is in love with celebrity weather girl Misty Breeze, and is the vice president and founding member of her international fan club. (He also appears to be her stalker. I mean, the guy has her 8th grade report card for goodness’ sake…) Duck used to work as a pool boy before joining the Loonatics.

Duck is voiced by award-winning actor Jason Marsden, who also voices the well-known cartoon character Chase Young on the popular kids’ TV show Xiaolin Showdown, also playing on Kids’ WB.

In the second season, we discover Duck's latest power—the aqua dense. It's a lot like using his power orb randomizer, except underwater and with much more powerful effects. (And it looks so much cooler— ^_^)

First debut: “Loonatics on Ice”
Powers: quantum quack/power orb randomizer⁄aqua dense
Color: orange (just like Daffy!)
Ancestor: Daffy Duck
Voice work: Jason Marsden [=D]

Tech E. Coyote

Tech E. CoyoteTech…the Loonatics' resident inventor and probably the most popular character on the show. His powers include molecular regeneration (in other words—if he gets blown up, Tech still lives) and magnetism, which means that he can control the magnetic fields around objects at will. His powers work well with his hobby—Tech is very passionate about inventing things, which he calls his “babies” (never harm his babies or suffer the consequences!).

Tech is zapped by WeathervaneTech's ability to regenerate himself (what a clever way for Wile E. Coyote to bounce back from all of his abuse!) leads him to be the guy most zapped, as he very well knows. Tech is somewhat ‘anti-social’, and is generally considered Rev's best friend, which shows the unique irony only CW can achieve (although in the second season, Tech and Rev do bicker more).

Before becoming a Loonatic, Tech used to be a senior at Acmetropolis Technology Institute, and used to tutor Mallory Casey (now known as Mallory Mastermind) before she was arrested. Speaking of Mastermind…she has sworn revenge on Tech. He called the cops on her when she tried to steal the brainpower of professors at the Institute using a device to “amplify” brainpower. Tech has outwitted her twice now, but we're all sure they'll run into each other again. Tech has a knack for attracting the attention of female villains (and fangirls), like Mastermind and Black Velvet. He is voiced by actor Kevin Michael Richardson.

First debut: “Loonatics on Ice”
Powers: magnetism/molecular regeneration
Equipment: a bunch of electronic gadgets (too many to name here)
Color: green
Ancestor: Wile E. Coyote
Voice work: Kevin Michael Richardson

Rev Runner

Rev RunnerRev is everyone's favorite hyperactive, scatterbrained roadrunner⁄“speed demon of Acmetropolis”. His powers include global positioning and sonic speed (with a velocity of 9983.83, if you were interested). Rev can be classified as the “innocent” of the group. He thinks everything is a game. Rev used to be a delivery boy for Quick Wrap Sandwich Shack before becoming a Loonatic.

Unanimously, one of the most ironic things about Rev is that he is the best friend of Tech. Consider that Rev's ancestor is Road Runner, and then consider that Wile E. Coyote was Tech's ancestor…wow, Kids’ WB just redefined the definition of ironic… (yet again)

A side note to the Rev fangirl⁄fanboy: If you wish to understand Rev, it is recommended that you turn on the closed captioning. Rev is voiced by award-winning actor Rob Paulsen, but talks extremely quickly (except during “Sypher” where he loses his speed talents).

First debut: “Loonatics on Ice”
Powers: flight/sonic speed (velocity of 9983.83)/global positioning
Color: red (the color of speed, danger, and excitement!)
Ancestor: Road Runner (one of the most disliked of the LT gang)
Voice work: Rob Paulsen
Password on Kids’ WB: stno37

Slam Tasmanian

Slam TasmanianSlam…he is the most powerful Loonatic strength-wise, but unfortunately is the most neglected (darn you, Rick Copp). His powers include tornado punches and the “Tasmo tornado” (with a spin-level of 8774.7). Speaking only garbled English, it takes quite a bit of know-how to understand him, but Slam—despite this—is highly intelligent.

Slam's ancestor is Taz, one of the most famous of the original Looney Tunes gang (who used to chase Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, if you'd like to know). Slam used to be a professional wrestler before joining the Loonatics, with a ring name of “Twisted Spinner”, and was constantly cheated out of victory. Slam is voiced—like Tech—by Kevin Michael Richardson.

Slam's first episode dedicated to himself was “I Am Slamacus” of the second season. Slam proved that he has a good sense of justice, will never give up on his friends, and can think and strategize on his own.

First debut: “Loonatics on Ice”
Powers: Tasmo tornado (spin-level: 8774.7)⁄tornado punch
Color: purple
Ancestor: Taz
Voice work: Kevin Michael Richardson
Password on Kids’ WB: PkNa8

Zadavia

Zadavia as a hologram.Zadavia…where to start? Among the Loonatics, she is known as “the Boss Lady”. Among fans—well, we hardly even remember her.

Her brother is Optimatus. They were born into the royal family and the two of them were supposed to rule their home planet—Freleng—side-by-side (Freleng is 600 parsecs from Earth), but Optimatus insisted on war with other planets in other galaxies when the wormhole had been fully developed. Zadavia opposed him, and had to flee for her life because of it. She made her way to Acmetropolis, and stopped the first meteor from destroying Acmetropolis by decreasing its density. Optimatus has attempted to kill her three times now, and we're all sure there'll be a fourth.

Zadavia has powers, but they're rainbow-colored, not the plain one-color that the Loonatics have. Zadavia currently resides in an underwater base that looks strangely like a bubble, or the Sphere of Yun on Xiaolin Showdown… During “A Creep in the Deep”, we discovered that she does indeed live underwater, and that the other Loonatics know where she is.

Zadavia is voiced by award-winning actress Candi Milo.

First debut: “Loonatics on Ice”
Powers: quite a few, but exact powers are unknown
Equipment: Frelengian technology
Voice work: Candi Milo
